If we continue to grow our population at this rate, we will reach 9.5 billion people by 2050. That’s three times as many people as there are now! If we keep going like this, we’ll need nearly twice as much land to support all of them. And that’s not even counting the animals who will be living with us then – surely they’ll want some grazing space too!

The world already doesn’t have enough resources to support all these people. Sooner or later, we’re going to run out of things like water and food. We need to start thinking about how we can reduce our population size now before it gets too big a problem for us – and for the planet.
